Lotte Rakhat Company and the ArtFuture platform opened the doors of the Art Residence as part of the Qazaqstan Oneri project to support modern art in Kazakhstan. For two months, from October 1 to November 29, Kazakhstani modern painters held workshops and seminars for children from Almaty orphanages.

The aim of the project is to show and immerse children in the world of art and to support the realization of the artworks of young painters.

A total of 30 children took part in the project, all of them participated in the art course for free. The final works created by the young painters together with artisans decorated the “Zhana Yerke” chocolate assortment.

Qazaqstan óneri brings together a series of projects to support modern artists in Kazakhstan. A year ago, for example, the Company together with ArtFuture launched a line of chocolate products with reproductions of paintings of modern Kazakh painters on the cover: Askar Yesdaulet, Kazakhbai Azhibekuly, Yerzhan Tanai, the sisters Galiya and Bota Kusainov, Orazbek Yessenbayev and Arystanbek Shalbayev.  Also in 2020, products illustrated by young painter Aigerim Karibayeva also appeared on shop shelves.
